At the Kitsap History Museum, July 23, 7 pm
Originally scheduled for June, this History UnCorked was postponed after the Bremerton Fan Zone in Quincy Square—located right outside the museum—became the center of World Cup excitement. The energy and crowds were so incredible that we knew it would be impossible to host the program at the same time. But we’re thrilled to be able to move it to July.
Join us for an evening exploring the fascinating world of mushrooms with Sable Burgess, President of the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society. From the hidden role fungi play in our forests to the basics of mushroom foraging in the Pacific Northwest, Sable will share insights into the region’s diverse mushroom species, where they grow, and what makes them such an important part of our local ecosystem. Whether you’re an experienced forager or simply mushroom-curious, this promises to be a fun and informative look at the world beneath our feet.
*If you registered for June, you do NOT need to registered again. Your name is still on the list.
