PUGET SOUND MOSQUITO FLEET

Reliance

The 118-foot-long passenger steamer Reliance was best known for her service to communities on the west side of Bainbridge Island, providing fast, reliable transportation to Seattle. She also served other Kitsap communities in the course of her career, including Colby, Harper, and Southworth. She was scrapped after sustaining heavy damage from a fire at the Houghton Shipyard dock on Lake Washington in 1926.
