At the Kitsap History Museum…
Join us for the next History Uncorked—90 Years of the Kitsap Sun!
The Kitsap Sun turns 90 years old in July, surviving in a media environment far different from when the start-up newspaper launched on Bremerton’s Fourth Street in 1935 – yet in some significant ways retaining the core what founding editor Julius Gius envisioned. Sun Editor David Nelson will tell the story of the newspaper’s origin and its decades dedicated to community life in Kitsap, and share about the continuing legacy at the Fifth Street office the newsroom still calls home.
Thursday, July 24, 7pm.
