Holiday Closure

The Museum will be closed for the holidays from December 23rd through January 3rd. We will reopen for regular business hours on Thursday, January 4th.

KHM Archive 1984.016.003: Snapshot of the “Big Snow” of Feb. 1916. This picture was taken looking north on Pacific Ave.  On Feb 3rd it snowed 30 inches in 36 hours and the heaviest snow fall since weather records were first kept by the Navy Yard.
